4. RMB D (Affordable House D)
    House Price: RM 250,000 - RM 300,000

Eligibility Criteria for RMB Johor

  • Applicants/couples who already own medium-cost houses, affordable houses, or luxury houses are not eligible to apply for RMB houses.
  • Applicants/couples who already own Low-Cost Rental Houses (RKR), Medium-Cost Rental Houses (RKSR), Affordable Homes Program (PKJA), or Affordable Housing Program (PKJB) can apply for a second house, which can be RMB C (House Price: RM 150,000) or RMB D (House Price: RM 250,000 - RM 300,000).
  • Applicants/couples who have owned RKR for more than 10 years are eligible to apply for a second house, which is RMB B (House Price: RM 80,000).
  • Only one application per married couple. This means that a husband/wife who has applied for or already owns an RMB house is not eligible to apply.
  • Both married and single individuals are eligible to apply. However, for married individuals, eligibility depends on whether the spouse already owns a house or not, and it also depends on the type of house.
  • Malaysian citizens born in any state who have resided in Johor for at least 10 years and are 18 years old or above are eligible to apply.

What about low-cost subsales housing (second-hand)? Generally, the requirements to purchase low-cost subsales housing are that couples who already own low-cost houses, medium-cost houses, affordable homes, or luxury houses are not eligible to purchase another low-cost house.
